The end of October is near and so starts the finale of the Halloween celebration. Bellingham will be hosting a number of Halloween-themed events for the community.
On October 28th
Bellingham Bells Annual Halloween party
Swing by the Barkley Village Bellingham Bells store from 5-7 p.m. to participate in raffles, contests, trick or treating, hang out with Dinger, and receive special discounts on team merchandise!
Bleedingham: A Northwestern Horror Short Film Festival
If it bleeds it will lead the competition at this gory film-fest! For over ten years, Bleedingham has been supporting those who love to make and watch horror movies here in the Pacific Northwest.
Ghostwalk, A Creative Haunting of Sehome Hill
You can experience Ghostwalk by downloading the Gesso.fm app onto your phone and walking to the locations shown on the map. To our knowledge, this is the first piece of locative art in Bellingham, WA. Every day until Dec. 22, 2022.
On October 29th
Rocky Horror Picture Show at Mount Baker Theatre
There is no better time than Halloween weekend to get dressed up and do the “Time Warp” at a midnight movie tradition! Seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show live is all about audience participation but Bellingham’s boldest actors will also be joining in on the fun and bringing the cult classic to life in front of the movie screen.
Free Community Pumpkin Carving
Makeshift Art Space will host a free, all-ages community pumpkin carving event 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 in their new open art studio.
On October 30th
Welcome to the sleepy town of Hellingham, where everyone is as silly as they are suspect. Join us at The Upfront Theatre for our fan-favorite improvised murder mystery all month in October! Our cast of improvisers take inspiration from the audience to create their character and then find out if they will be a killer, victim, or witness.
