May 5- Give blood. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Located between Syre and Laidlaw buildings on campus. Sponsored by Whatcom’s nursing club.
May 5- Street law. Talk to a lawyer for free. Information on family law, debt collection, landlord/tenant issues, civil law, etc. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the career center, Laidlaw 116.
May 5- Student help desk. If you are having trouble with your personal home computer, bring it with you and drop by. Students from the computer information system’s club will fix it for free.
May 8- Blue Scholars come to Whatcom. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the cashier window in Laidlaw.
