Smart Cards:

Last Friday was the first meeting with Blackboard, the company that the school is working with to bring SmartCards to the campus next fall. It will be like a credit card one can load money on and use around campus at coffee carts, the cafeteria, and vending machines. It will also allow students to log on to computers in the library and new Student Access Lab.

Representative At Large:

Laurel Johnson was voted as next year’s Representative At Large.

New Student Piano:

The council passed a motion for funds not to exceed $7,000 in the purchase of a new campus piano, to be installed in Syre 107 by next fall. The piano will be available by sign-up for general students.
