Unlike the win on Valentines Day, last Saturday’s Men’s game against the Bellevue College Bulldogs was a slow-paced, low-scoring defense-oriented game. But by the end, the Orcas showed their dominance by winning with a 77-52 score.
The game started slow with both teams going at it, both taking the lead at least once before the first half ended. By the second half, WCC started breaking away and making the margin of points larger.
WCC player Noah Madsen lead the way in the match with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists – having an amazingly efficient night at 75% field goals made/attempted, an insane 60% from the perimeter, and 50% on free throws. Madsen was close to joining an exclusive this game if he went 100% on the charity stripe. Keilan Torkornoo had a respectable 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.
This game’s win marks a three-game winning streak for the WCC Men’s team. If they win tonight and next Saturday’s away games, they will have a chance to go for a six-game winning streak at the next home game on Feb. 28, against the Everett Trojans. Don’t miss the opportunity to come cheer on our team!
