Erik Ibarra with Whatcom's Art Club paints a mural on Orca Day outside Kulshan as a Whatcom tudent watches. The art club wanted to have murals ready for viewing but ran out of time so they decided to paint them while Orca Day was going on. Idea for the mural display on Orca Day came from Ibarra and the art clubs president.
